  1. Restless leg syndrome is why I’m on tramadol. I started taking codeine at night. I didn’t know that you’re endorphins recharge at night. I ended up with fibromyalgia as a result and couldn’t function with tramadol. Opiates don’t work on their own for me. I need the NSRI effects of tramadol for chronic fatigue. I think the benzos I were on contributed to rls. They slow down your heart rate. I get up and do calf raises to temporarily get rid of rls. If you have to do it twice in the night you will be exhausted enough to sleep. Dopamine increase will make you anxious if you are in withdrawal that’s last thing you need. Running a few km might help

  2. Thank God, I’m getting ready to go through opiate withdrawal. I’m weaning myself from Oxycodone. You are a Godsend. Finally someone who can help me.

  3. As far as I’m concerned, if you can get through opiate, benzo, alcohol, etc. withdrawal… you are one of the strongest people in the world. It takes a GREAT deal of strength to get through this torture. Its literally HELL ON EARTH. Normal people dont understand how hard it is…

  4. Please discuss perminant damage done from opiate withdrawal.

I have a friend who herniated their stomach on the 3rd day of detoxing and they have never been the same it has been 5 years they have constant reflux and anaemia from bleeding caused by the hiatis hernia.

They were on legal medications the Dr ceased high dose oxy contin 200mg plus and the Dr ceased it cold Turkey he ceased all his pain patients at once with no reason.

This poor person has no justice and their life is stuffed because of a Dr.

I am interested if others have stories of damage from careless drs?

  5. Sir you just have given the best description of opiate withdrawal i ever heard. Many people cant imagine what its like. For a long long time i didnt even know the term RLS. And that was for me the worst of the worst. Laying awake all night your toes cracking and your legs kicking, everything sweaty your muscles feeling like their on fire…
